Binding Spell
(protects others from magical fall-out and keeps energy flow of spell directed toward your goal. Bind every spell with a safeguard against harm.) By karmic power of number three, This spell tied and knotted by; So that its contents stay together, And can't harm human, beast, or weather.

Depression Spell
(I get a lot of use out of this one. Use a candle; color should represent, to you, the purpose of this spell. Recommened color- light blue for calmness and peace.) Flame cut through depression, deep Melt it down and make it weep. Grant me power to re-emerge, >From its grip, I leap and surge. Take the light's power and transform its strength Into positive energy I can use at length.

Enemies
(For this spell/chant, either write the name of the person on a piece of paper or get a picture. Say these words as you burn the paper/picture in a fire-safe cauldron.) (Name of Person) go away. Out of my life forever stay.

Focus
(This spell is perfect for studying. To be said mentally or aloud) Quiet, mind, now be still. Focus on what I now will. No scattering or thought dissnsion- I order you to pay attention Bring clear focus to details Enlarge and bring them into scale Attend each project one by one Grant clarity 'till work is done.

Anger
(I would suggest that you begin this spell with a meditation to ground and center yourself. Next, proceed to this spell. Picture blue mist flowing into and all through your body, calming you.) Anger, I command you: Go! Calming Power, through me, flow!

Anti-Anxiety
Nervous anxiety, you are dead. Lord and Lady, soothe my head. Bring me to your calming peace. As I will, so mote it be!

To Become More Forgiving
I wash away all hurt and pain. I wash away scorn and disdain. All contempt I hereby purge Let sweet forgiveness now emerge!

Knowledge
(This is Perfect for tests and exams!) Goddess and God, all around Make my memory good and sound. Give me firm grasp of what I learn So I can remember it word for word.

A Simple Pain Chant
(I would suggest that you sit in a comfortable position, take a few deep breaths, then say these words as you visualize the pain in your body flowing out.) Pain be gone, Far away, Never will be here to stay.

Relationship
(Take a red or pink candle, to symbolize love, and place on your altar or the place of the working. Also, either get a picture of the you and your lover together, one of each of you, or write your names on a peice of paper and draw a heart around it. Place these items in front of the lit candle and say these words:) Goddess and God I ask thee Have our love reflect that of ye Join us lovingly together And let our hearts be one forever.

A Short Chant for Help Divine Mother
Mother Divine Show me the way; Give me a sign To Remove Negative Entities Nasty critters, heed these words- Fly far away, fly like a bird. Hear me well; I now command You leave this space, this sacred land Out, I say! I order you! Go peacefully- take flight anew.

New Moon Chant
(To be said either while looking out of a window or standing outside.) Silver flowing The Goddess is growing Growing showing Love for me

Full Moon Chant
Abundant Mother, Moon so bright,
Hear my plea upon this night.
Your fertile power lend this spell;
Make it potent, strong, well.


Candles in the craft are used to help to increase a spells power, or to influence a particular power. I have provided a list of colors, which I use. This is what my coven uses, and is offered to help you in your journey into the craft.

White:
A balance of all colors; Spiritual enlightenment, cleansing, clairvouance, healing, truth seeking; Rituals involving lunar energy' May be substituted for any color candle.
Yellow:
Activity, Creativity, unity; brings power of concentration and imagination to a ritual; use in rituals where you wish to gain anothers confidence or persuade someone, or in rituals that require solar energy.
Gold:
Fosters understanding and attracts the powers of cosmic influences; beneficial in rituals intended to bring about fast luck or money, or in rituals needing solar energy.
Pink:
Promotes romance, friendship; standard color for rituals to draw effections; a color of femininity, honor, service, brings friendly, lively conversation to the dinner table.
Red:
Health, passion, love, fertility, strength, courage, will power; increases magnetism in rituals; draws Aries and Scorpio energy.
Silver:
Removes negativity and encourages stability; helps develop psychic abilities; attracts the influence of the Mother Goddess.
Purple:
Power, success, idealism, psychic manifestations; ideals for rituals to secure ambitions, independence, financial rewards, or to make contact with the spiritual other world; increases Neptune energy.
Magenta:
Combination of red and violet that occillates on a high frequency; energizes rituals where immediate action and high levels of power or spirtual healing are required.
Brown:
Earthly, balanced color; for rituals of meterial increase; eleminates indecisiveness; improves powers of concentration, study, telepathy; increases financial success; locates objects that have been lost.
Indigo:
Color of inertia; stops situations or people; use in rituals that require a deep meditational state; or in rituals that demand Saturn energy.
Royal Blue:
Promotes laughter and joviality; color or loyalty; use to attract Jupiter energy, or whenever an influence needs to be increased.
Light Blue:
Spirtual color; helpful in devotional or inspirational meditations; brings peace and tranquility to the home; raditates Aquarius energy; employ where a situation must be synthesized.
Blue:
Primary spiritual color; for rituals to obtain wisdom, harmony, inner light, or peace; confers truth and guidance.
Emerald Green:
Important component in Venusian rituals; attracts love, social delights, and fertility.
Dark Green:
Color of ambition, greed, and jealousy; counteracts these influences in a ritual.
Green:
Promotes prosperity, fertility, success; stimulates rituals for good luck, money, harmony, and rejuvenation.
Grey:
Neutral color useful when pondering complex issues during meditation; in magic, this color often sparks confusion; it also negates or neutralizes a negative influence.
Black:
Opens up the deeper levels of the unconscious; use in rituals to induce a deep meditational state, or to banish evil or negativity as in uncrossing rituals; attracts Saturn energy.
